The Musical Bumps Trail is an extremely difficult 31.536-kilometer out-and-back route that will challenge even the most experienced hikers. The trail boasts an elevation gain of 1626 meters and is estimated to take around 11 hours and 21 minutes to complete.
Starting at Cheakamus Lake, hikers will first encounter an informational point and a picnic site right at the beginning of the trail. As you make your way along the path, you'll come across Harmony Hut at 13.8 kilometers. This is a great spot to take a break and refuel before continuing on your journey.
As you push forward, you'll reach The Stu Inn at 10.75 kilometers, a wilderness hut where you can rest and recharge surrounded by nature. Along the route, you'll also find various water sources to stay hydrated, with the closest one being Cheakamus River at 0.79 kilometers.
The trail offers stunning views and a challenging terrain that will truly test your hiking skills. Make sure to pack plenty of water, snacks, and check the weather forecast before embarking on this adventure. The trail is demanding, but the breathtaking scenery and sense of accomplishment at the end make it all worthwhile.
