This extremely difficult 17.683-kilometer out-and-back hiking route will take you through the beautiful area of Abbeveratoio. The trail starts at La Vallocchia parking area and continues onward, offering stunning views and challenging terrain.

Along the route, you will come across several points of interest. At around 8.84 kilometers into the hike, you will reach Abbeveratoio, a watering hole where you can replenish your water supply. Further ahead, at approximately 1.28 kilometers from the start, you will find Val D'Orta and another water feature at the same distance, providing you with more opportunities to rest and enjoy the surroundings.

As you venture on, be on the lookout for drinking water sources like Fonte Canale, Fonte Pero del Colle, and more, located at various points along the trail to help you stay hydrated during this challenging hike.

Although the route is quite demanding with 666 meters of elevation gain, the breathtaking views and serene natural landscapes make it all worth it. Make sure to bring plenty of water, snacks, and check the weather forecast before embarking on this journey. And don't forget to pack your camera to capture the scenic vistas along the way.
