This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of Chemin du Vignal-Haut. The trail is an out-and-back type with a total distance of 7.618 kilometers and an elevation gain of 174 meters, making it a difficult level hike. It is estimated to take around 2 hours and 11 minutes to complete.

As you start your journey, you will come across the Place de l’Eglise parking area right at the beginning of the trail. About 3.81 kilometers into the hike, you will find a water source, perfect for refilling your bottles. Further along, at 0.15 kilometers from the start, you will encounter the stunning Château de Chambonas castle, a historic landmark worth exploring.

Midway through the hike, at a distance of 1.85 kilometers from the start, you will pass by Camping la Surre campsite where you can take a break and rest. Towards the end of the trail, you will find the Place de la Mairie parking area, making it convenient for you to conclude your hike.
