Lynn Peak Route is a challenging 7.65-kilometer out-and-back hike with an elevation gain of 679 meters, making it a difficult trek that offers rewarding views along the way.
Starting at the parking area, the trail leads you through lush forested areas, with the sound of a nearby creek providing a soothing soundtrack to your hike. Approximately 210 meters from the start, you'll come across a water source, perfect for refilling your bottles before continuing on.
As you ascend further, at around 1 kilometer into the hike, you'll find a drinking water station conveniently located beside the trail. This is a great spot to take a break and hydrate before tackling the steeper sections ahead.
Around the 2.3-kilometer mark, you'll reach a viewpoint that offers a stunning vantage point of the surrounding landscape. Take some time to soak in the beauty before pushing on.
At the 3.82-kilometer mark, you'll encounter another viewpoint, providing a different perspective of the area. This is a great place to capture some photos and enjoy a snack before heading back.
Throughout the trail, you'll also find benches and information points, offering opportunities to rest and learn more about the area. Additionally, there are several bicycle parking areas along the route, catering to those who prefer to cycle to the trailhead.
