This hiking route will take you to the beautiful Geissflue area, known for its stunning landscapes and natural beauty. The trail is an out-and-back type, with a total distance of 1.796 kilometers and an elevation gain of 135 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels.

Along the trail, you will encounter several points of interest. At the beginning of the hike, you will find a parking area for your convenience. As you make your way, you will pass by the Naturfreundehaus Schafmatt, a restaurant where you can take a break and enjoy some local cuisine. Further along the trail, you will come across Schafmatt Passhöhe, a saddle offering panoramic views of the surrounding area.

Midway through the hike, you will find Schafmatt, an information point, and Balmis, another information point providing insights into the region's history and nature. Additionally, there are picnic sites along the trail where you can relax and take in the surroundings.

As you near the end of the trail, you will reach Geissflue, a peak offering breathtaking views of the area. Here, you can take in the beauty of the landscape before heading back along the same route.
