This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of Rumpelweide. Starting from the parking area, you will begin your journey towards Obere Miesern, where you can find some informative points about the area just 1 km away. As you continue on the trail, you will reach Rumpelweide, another informative point located 1 km from Obere Miesern.

Along the way, you will pass by the Rumpelweide viewpoint, where you can enjoy a stunning view of the surroundings. After taking in the view, you can make a pit stop at Naturfreundehaus Rumpel, an alpine hut that is 1 km away from the viewpoint. The hut is open on Sundays and Wednesdays from 10:00 to 17:00, allowing you to rest and refuel before continuing your hike.

As you make your way back, be sure to take a moment to relax at the benches scattered along the trail. Before reaching the parking area again, you can visit the Sunneberg peak, located nearby.

This out-and-back trail covers a distance of 2.2 km with an elevation gain of 164 meters. The hike is of moderate difficulty due to its length and elevation, so be sure to come prepared with proper hiking gear, plenty of water, and snacks.
