Hiking : Mount Fortune

This extremely difficult 24.265-kilometer hiking route will take you to Mount Fortune, starting at the Mount Shark Parking area.

The trail begins with a picturesque view of Mount Shark Parking, located just 21 meters from the trailhead. As you continue along the path, about midway at 2.95 kilometers, you'll come across a bench where you can rest and take in the surrounding nature.

At around 3.65 kilometers into the hike, you'll reach a beautiful waterfall located 143 meters off the trail. Make sure to take a moment to admire its beauty before continuing on your journey.

The highlight of this hike is reaching Mount Fortune, located 12.13 kilometers from the start of the trail. This peak offers stunning panoramic views of the surrounding area, making the challenging journey well worth it.

As this is an out-and-back route, you will retrace your steps back to the starting point after reaching Mount Fortune. With an elevation gain of 715 meters, this hike is not for the faint of heart. Make sure to bring plenty of water, snacks, and check the weather forecast before embarking on this adventure.
