This extremely difficult 15.4-kilometer out-and-back hiking route will take you through a challenging but rewarding terrain in the Torrre del Llaz area.
As you start your journey, you will pass by several parking areas, making it convenient for you to leave your vehicle before embarking on the trail. The trail offers various points of interest along the way, including a drinking water station near the beginning to refill your bottles and several restaurants for a well-deserved meal on your way back.
Midway through the hike, you will come across the PR-PNPE 13 Cueva de Santibañas information point, providing insights into the area's natural beauty. Further along, you will encounter peaks such as Torres del Jou de la Llera and Torre del Medio, offering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.
For a quick break, you can visit the Fuente Palombar spring about 2.5 kilometers into the hike or the Funte de la Jarda spring at 0.56 kilometers from the start. Additionally, you will pass by the monument of Gregorio Pérez Demaria, el Cainejo, showcasing the area's historic significance.
The trail culminates at Torrre del Llaz, a prominent peak where you can enjoy the breathtaking vistas before making your way back. Make sure to bring plenty of water, wear appropriate gear, and check the weather forecast before setting out on this challenging adventure.
