This extremely difficult 12.1 km circular hiking route will take you through the stunning natural beauty of the Laghetto della Paura area. With an elevation gain of 1159 meters and a duration of approximately 5 hours and 41 minutes, this hike is not for the faint of heart.

As you begin your journey, you will come across the Laghetto della Paura, a beautiful natural water feature located 6.01 km from the start of the trail. The trail will then lead you to Lago Piano Casere, a serene alpine lake located 3.84 km from the starting point. Along the way, you will also pass by Rifugio Laghi Gemelli, an alpine hut situated 4.86 km from the trailhead, where you can take a break and enjoy the breathtaking views.

Throughout the hike, you will encounter various points of interest such as Laghetto della paura, Baita Tomaso ruins, Vecchio Rifugio Gemelli ruins, and Cascata Borleggia waterfall. Make sure to stay hydrated as there are drinking water points located along the trail, including one at a distance of 4.86 km from the start.
