The River Discovery Trail is a 6.795-kilometer moderate hiking route that offers a peaceful journey through a scenic area. Starting at a parking area, you will begin your adventure surrounded by nature as you follow the trail. Along the way, you will come across several points of interest.
Approximately 3.33 kilometers into the hike, you will find a water source where you can take a break and enjoy the soothing sounds of nature. Further along the trail, at around 2.5 kilometers from the start, you will encounter more water points, perfect for refilling your water bottle or simply taking in the surroundings.
As you continue on the trail, you will pass by various parking areas, information centers, and viewing spots. These locations provide opportunities to learn more about the area and its wildlife. At around 3.4 kilometers from the start, you will reach several water points and the Holding Pond, a unique feature worth exploring.
The route is an out-and-back type, so you will retrace your steps on the way back to the starting point. With an elevation gain of 70 meters, the trail offers a moderate challenge suitable for hikers of varying experience levels.
