This extremely difficult hiking route will take you on a 15.674-kilometer journey to the stunning Bärfallspitze peak in the beautiful region.
Starting at the trailhead, you will pass by the Rossfeldsattel and the Speicherteich lake early on in the hike. As you continue, you will reach the Schirmbar and Berggasthof Scharfetter, perfect spots to grab a bite to eat and refuel. Midway through the journey, you'll encounter the Krummholzhütte alpine hut, offering a cozy resting place with scenic views.
The trail will lead you further to the Hauser Kaibling peak, where you can take in panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Along the way, you'll also spot various water points and information stops providing insights into the area's natural and cultural features.
As you make your way back, consider stopping by the Knappelhütt'n for a final break before completing the circular route. The trail's total elevation gain of 994 meters poses a challenge, so ensure you are well-prepared with proper hiking gear, sufficient water, and snacks.
