This extremely difficult 12.255-kilometer out-and-back hiking route will lead you to the breathtaking Steinschlaghore peak in Ottenschwand. The trail starts at Studio Elsighorn, where you can find parking facilities. As you begin your journey, you'll come across a bench at around the 0.51-kilometer mark, perfect for a brief rest.
Around 1.02 kilometers into the hike, you'll find another bench where you can take in the beautiful surroundings before continuing towards the Ueblenberg information point at 1.97 kilometers. This is a great spot to learn more about the area and catch your breath.
Further along the trail, at 3.06 kilometers, you'll reach the Tussweide information point. Make sure to stop here and gather more insights about the wildlife and geography of the region. As you approach the 4.26-kilometer mark, you'll come across the Gunngstand information point, providing valuable details about the trail and its surroundings.
