This extremely difficult 11.453-kilometer out-and-back hiking route will lead you to the beautiful Steischlaghore peak. The trail offers a challenging elevation gain of 1435 meters and is estimated to take around 6 hours and 14 minutes to complete.

Starting from Studio Elsighorn parking area, the trail begins with a gentle introduction before gradually increasing in difficulty. Along the way, you'll come across benches at the 0.51-kilometer mark and the 1.02-kilometer mark, perfect for taking a breather and enjoying the surrounding nature.

As you continue your ascent, you'll pass by the Ueblenberg information point at 1.97 kilometers, offering insights into the local area. Around 0.69 kilometers into the hike, you'll find another information point providing valuable details about the surroundings.

Midway through the hike at 3.06 kilometers, you'll reach the Tussweide information point, offering interesting facts about the area. Further up the trail at 4.26 kilometers, the Gunngstand information point awaits, providing additional information about the landscape.

Approaching the summit, the Steinschlaghore peak at 5.73 kilometers offers breathtaking panoramic views as a rewarding end point for your hike. Remember to bring plenty of water, snacks, and to check the weather forecast before embarking on this challenging adventure.
