This hiking route will take you on a 10.5-kilometer circular journey to the beautiful destination of Issentalköpfl. The route boasts a total elevation gain of 787 meters, offering a challenging yet rewarding experience for seasoned hikers.

Starting at the trailhead, you will first come across the Ehrwalder Almbahn parking area, where you can leave your vehicle before embarking on the hike. Just 2.66 kilometers into the hike, you will reach Ehrwalder Alm, an alpine hut where you can take a break and enjoy the stunning mountain views. Further along the trail at 1.41 kilometers, you will find Ganghofer Hütte, a restaurant offering sustenance for hungry hikers.

As you continue your journey, you will come across BrentAlm at 0.1 kilometers from the start, another restaurant where you can refuel before reaching your final destination. Along the way, you will also pass by a wayside shrine, benches for resting, and informational points to learn more about the area.

The highlight of the hike is the peak of Issentalköpfl, located 5.13 kilometers from the start. From this vantage point, you can enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Remember to bring plenty of water, snacks, and to check the weather forecast before setting out on this challenging yet breathtaking hike.
