This extremely difficult 12.058-kilometer circular hiking route will take you to the stunning Monte Corno area. The trail starts at Largo Emanuele Reali and passes by Porta Spoletina, a historic city gate. As you make your way through the challenging terrain, you'll come across various points of interest.
About 4.44 kilometers into the hike, you'll find a water source at a distance of 18.574 meters from the trail. This will be a good spot to refill your water supply, so make sure to bring enough water for the journey.
At around 1.64 kilometers from the start, you'll encounter a peak, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. As you continue your ascent, you'll reach the peak of Monte Corno at 5.59 kilometers, where the views are even more spectacular.
Around the midway point of the trail, at 5.22 kilometers, there is a shelter called Malga, providing a resting spot for weary hikers. It's a good idea to take breaks along the way to catch your breath and enjoy the scenery.
As you approach the end of the hike, about 0.21 kilometers from the start, you'll come across Fonte della Ripa, a fountain where you can freshen up and rehydrate. Additionally, there are benches and a memorial along the trail for you to rest and reflect.
