This challenging hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of Sentiero delle Pietre Rosse. The trail is an out-and-back type, with a total distance of 8.694 kilometers and an elevation gain of 528 meters, making it a difficult route suitable for experienced hikers.
As you start your journey, you will come across various points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, you will find parking areas and the historic city gate of Porta del Buongiorno. Continuing on, you will pass by the water point at 4.35 kilometers, where you can refill your supplies.
Midway through the hike, at around 2.17 kilometers, you will reach Scogli del Bobbo, a natural peak offering stunning panoramic views of the surroundings. There are also restaurants and bars nearby, such as Locanda Francescana and Bar Francescano, where you can take a break and grab a bite to eat.
