This challenging hiking route takes you on a circular journey from the paravalanche barrier Cherillon to Rifugio Oriondé in the scenic area. The trail covers a distance of 8.636 kilometers with an elevation gain of 706 meters, making it a difficult yet rewarding adventure.
As you start your journey, you will come across various points of interest along the way. Approximately 3.17 kilometers into the hike, you will encounter Laghi dell'Oriondé, a beautiful lake offering a tranquil spot to rest and enjoy the views. Continuing on, at around 3.01 kilometers, you will find Rif. Oriondé, an alpine hut where you can take a break and refuel before continuing your ascent.
Throughout the hike, you will also pass by several water sources, such as at 4.22 kilometers where you can replenish your water supply. Additionally, there are parking areas located at various points along the trail, providing convenient access for hikers.
