Starting at the trailhead, you will encounter a cozy bench just 0.28 kilometers into the hike, perfect for a quick rest before continuing on. As you trek further, at the 1.31-kilometer mark, you will come across an information board about the Bergwerksweg, providing valuable insights into the area's history.

Around the midway point, at 4.0 kilometers in, a refreshing water source awaits to quench your thirst. Additionally, a cave entrance known as "Bergwerk" can be explored at 1.68 kilometers in, adding a sense of adventure to your journey.

As you near the end of the trail, the peak of Eggerberg at 4.49 kilometers offers a rewarding panoramic view of the surrounding landscape. Take a moment to soak in the beauty before making your way back.

Throughout the hike, you may come across a wayside cross commemorating Hl. Barbara at 0.82 kilometers and Nösslachhütte, a welcoming restaurant and alpine hut at 0.84 kilometers, perfect for a hearty meal post-hike.

Please note that a spring located off the trail at 0.58 kilometers may not be easily accessible, so it's advisable to carry an ample water supply. Given the trail's difficulty level with an elevation gain of 825.0 meters, it's important to wear appropriate footwear and pack essentials such as snacks, a first aid kit, and check the weather forecast before embarking on this adventure.
