This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of Mont Mézenc, offering stunning views and interesting points of interest along the way. The trail is 3.298 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 171 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels.
Starting at the parking area, you will first come across the historic Croix de Peccata wayside cross, located right at the beginning of the trail. As you continue onwards, you will encounter the Table d'orientation Est viewpoint, offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.
Midway through the hike, you will reach the Col de la Croix de Peccata saddle, where you can take a moment to rest and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Further along the trail, you will find the Table d'orientation Ouest viewpoint, providing another vantage point to take in the beauty of the area.
Near the end of the hike, you will come across the Site de vol libre, a popular spot for free flying enthusiasts to take off and enjoy the thrill of soaring through the skies. Finally, the trail leads you back to the starting point, completing the out-and-back route.
