The route starts at the parking area, located right at the beginning of the trail. As you make your way, you will come across the Ruinas de San Pedro at the 0.05 kilometer mark. These historic ruins are a fascinating sight to explore, although they are slightly off the main trail.

Around the 4.77 kilometer mark, you will encounter a water source marked on the map, providing a great opportunity to refill your water bottles and take a break. Further along the trail, at the 0.73 kilometer mark, there is another drinking water spot available, just a short distance off the trail.

For those interested in attractions, the Balcon de Toros can be found at the 0.59 kilometer mark. This viewing point offers a stunning panoramic view, although it requires a small detour from the main trail.
