This hiking route takes you to the beautiful area around Soum des Salettes. The trail is 13.376 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 1085 meters, making it extremely difficult in terms of difficulty. It is estimated to take about 5 hours and 48 minutes to complete.
As you start your hike, you will come across a parking area conveniently located at the beginning of the trail. Along the way, at about 1 kilometer in, you will find the Cabane de Moune, a shelter where you can take a rest and enjoy the surroundings.
Continuing on, at around 3.49 kilometers from the start, you will reach Étang des Vaches, a beautiful water feature where you can take in the serene atmosphere. Further along the trail, at 5.74 kilometers in, you will encounter Port de Campbieil, a saddle that offers stunning views of the surrounding landscape.
The highlight of the hike is reaching the peak of Soum des Salettes, located at approximately 6.69 kilometers from the start. From here, you can enjoy panoramic views of the area before making your way back.
