This extremely difficult hiking route will take you to the stunning Soum des Salettes area. The trail covers a distance of 13.376 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1085 meters, and it is estimated to take around 5 hours and 48 minutes to complete.
Starting at the parking area, you will begin your journey towards the peak of Soum des Salettes, which is located approximately 6.69 kilometers from the starting point. As you make your way through the trail, you will pass by Étang des Vaches, a beautiful water feature situated 3.49 kilometers into the hike.
Around the 1-kilometer mark, you will come across Cabane de Moune, a shelter where you can take a break and enjoy the surroundings. Further along the trail, at 5.74 kilometers from the start, you will reach Port de Campbieil, a saddle offering picturesque views of the area.
