This hiking route takes you to the beautiful area of Monte Romecchio, offering stunning views and challenging terrain. With a total distance of 14 kilometers and an elevation gain of 633 meters, this hike is rated as extremely difficult, so be prepared for a strenuous trek.

Starting at the trailhead, you will first come across a convenient parking area, located right at the beginning of the route. As you make your way along the trail, you will pass by a restaurant about 2.83 kilometers from the start, where you can stop for a meal or a quick break.

Around the midway point, at 6.04 kilometers from the start, you will reach Passo del Saltello, a picturesque saddle offering a great spot to rest and take in the surrounding scenery. Continuing on, you will encounter the peak of Monte Romecchio at the 7 kilometer mark, providing panoramic views of the area.

As you near the end of the route, approximately 3.74 kilometers from the start, you will find Femmina Morta peak, although it's slightly off the trail. Finally, you will turn back and retrace your steps to complete this out-and-back hike.

It is important to bring an adequate water supply, wear sturdy hiking shoes, and check the weather forecast before embarking on this challenging hike. Ensure you are well-prepared for a long and strenuous day on the trails.
