This challenging out-and-back hiking route will take you to the stunning Tête de Paneyron, offering breathtaking views along the way. The trail covers a distance of 8.362 kilometers with an elevation gain of 645 meters, making it a difficult hike that is perfect for experienced hikers.

Starting at the trailhead, you will pass by "L'Igloo" restaurant just 0.06 kilometers from the beginning of the route, where you can grab a bite to eat before embarking on your adventure. As you continue on, you will come across a convenient parking area at the start of the trail.

One of the notable points of interest along the hike is the Col de Vars, located 0.1 kilometers from the trail. This saddle offers a great place to take a break and soak in the surrounding natural beauty. Further along the trail, at the 4.18 kilometer mark, you will reach the Tête de Paneyron peak, providing stunning panoramic views of the area.

Don't miss the viewpoint located 0.73 kilometers from the start on your way back, offering a final chance to admire the scenery before completing the hike.
