This hiking route takes you through a beautiful area with stunning views and refreshing stops along the way. The trail is a circular route with a total distance of 1.364 kilometers and an elevation gain of 33 meters, making it super easy and suitable for hikers of all levels.
Starting at the parking area, the trail leads you on a leisurely walk through the scenic surroundings. Along the way, you will come across various points of interest. About midway through the hike, you will reach Rifugio Barga, an alpine hut where you can take a break and enjoy the tranquil atmosphere. Continuing on, you will pass by Lago Santo modenese, a picturesque water body perfect for a quick rest and some scenic photos.
As you near the end of the hike, you will reach Rifugio Giovo, another alpine hut where you can relax and soak in the breathtaking surroundings before heading back to the starting point. Throughout the hike, there are convenient drinking water stations and even a restaurant, Il Cacciatore, where you can refuel and recharge.
