This hiking route will take you to the beautiful Mont de la Saxe area. The trail is an out-and-back type with a total distance of 10.152 kilometers and an elevation gain of 938.0 meters, making it a difficult hike that will take approximately 4 hours and 41 minutes to complete. Before starting the hike, make sure to bring plenty of water and snacks, and check the weather forecast to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.

As you begin your journey, you will come across the Parcheggio della Val Sapin parking area, located right at the start of the trail. Approximately halfway through the hike, at around 2.54 kilometers from the start, you will find the Rifugio Giorgio Bertone vecchio alpine hut and the Rifugio Bertone (nuovo) alpine hut. These are great spots to take a break, enjoy a meal, and take in the scenic views of the area.

Continuing on, at 2.84 kilometers from the start, you will come across an information point followed by a viewpoint at 2.86 kilometers. These locations offer interesting insights and stunning panoramic views of the surroundings. Further along the trail, at 5.08 kilometers from the start, you will reach the Mont de la Saxe peak, a natural wonder worth exploring.
