This challenging 11.286-kilometer out-and-back hiking route leads you to the stunning Tête de la Tronche in an area filled with natural beauty. The trail begins at the parking area located at the trailhead. Make sure to bring plenty of water and snacks for this nearly 5-hour hike with an elevation gain of 938 meters.
As you start your journey, you will come across an information point about 0.36 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. This can be a great spot to learn more about the area and take a short break before continuing on. About 5.21 kilometers into the hike, you will reach Col Sapin, a beautiful saddle that offers breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.
Further along the trail, at approximately 5.64 kilometers from the start, you will reach the peak of Tête de la Tronche. Enjoy the panoramic views from the summit before heading back the way you came. Be mindful of the distance and elevation gain on your return journey.
