This hike takes you through the stunning area surrounding Aiguille des Angroniettes. The 11.4-kilometer trail offers a challenging trek with an elevation gain of 1040 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding adventure for experienced hikers.
As you start your journey, you will pass by Rifugio Elena, an alpine hut located 1.61 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. This is a great spot to take a break and admire the breathtaking mountain views.
Continuing on, you will come across Col du Ban Darrey, a saddle located 4.86 kilometers from the start of the trail, followed by colletto at 5.25 kilometers. These natural landmarks offer a unique perspective of the surrounding landscape.
Along the way, make sure to stay hydrated by refilling your water bottle at the drinking water station located 2.56 kilometers into the hike. And don't forget to stop by the various information points marked as TMB to learn more about the area's history and wildlife.
