This hiking route takes you through the picturesque area of Iffigenalp in Switzerland. The 5.756-kilometer trail offers an elevation gain of 355 meters, making it a moderate difficulty hike that can be completed in approximately 2 hours and 13 minutes.

As you start your hike, you will come across a parking area where you can leave your vehicle before hitting the trail. The trail passes by Iffigenalp, a charming spot where you can learn more about the area at the information point located just 0.14 kilometers from the start.

About halfway through the hike, at 2.88 kilometers from the start, you will find a natural water source, providing a refreshing break for hikers. Additionally, there are benches along the trail, including one at 0.14 kilometers and another at 0.4 kilometers, offering opportunities to rest and take in the beautiful surroundings.

For sustenance, there are two restaurants along the trail. "Groppi" is located at 1.75 kilometers from the start and offers regional products, while "Berghaus Iffigenalp" is situated at 0.16 kilometers and provides a picturesque dining experience.

Before embarking on this hike, make sure to bring an adequate water supply, as well as check the weather forecast to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience. As this is an out-and-back route, you will retrace your steps on the way back, giving you a chance to see the stunning scenery from a different perspective.
