Welcome to the hiking route to Capanna Presena! This challenging 8.153-kilometer trail features an elevation gain of 857 meters and is estimated to take approximately 4 hours to complete. The route is an out-and-back trail, starting at the parking area near Monumento ai Caduti della Prima Guerra Mondiale.

As you venture along the trail, you will encounter various points of interest. About 2.62 kilometers from the start, you will find a water source at a natural category point. Continuing further, at around 2.76 kilometers, another water point is located.

Midway through the hike, at approximately 2.9 kilometers, you will come across Lago del Monticello, a beautiful natural sight to rest and take in the scenery.

As you approach the endpoint of the trail, at 4.08 kilometers, you will reach Capanna Presena, an alpine hut where you can take a break and enjoy the stunning surroundings.

Hikers are advised to bring an ample water supply, wear appropriate footwear, and check the weather forecast before embarking on this challenging journey. It is recommended to start early to ensure you have enough daylight to complete the hike safely.
