This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of Otsomehaka, offering stunning views and challenging terrain. The trail is an out-and-back route with a total distance of 11.587 kilometers and an elevation gain of 508 meters, making it a difficult hike that will test your endurance.

As you start your hike, you will come across the Baztan Camping site, located just 0.04 kilometers from the trailhead. This is a great spot to rest and grab some supplies before you continue on your journey. Additionally, there is a parking area at the beginning of the trail, perfect for those driving to the starting point.

Midway through the hike, you will reach the Mehaka saddle, a natural formation that offers a great vantage point to take in the surrounding scenery. From here, you can see the Otsomehaka peak, which is located 5.79 kilometers from the start of the trail. This peak is a popular destination for hikers, providing panoramic views of the area.

Along the way, you may also come across the archaeological site of Cromlechs Agotarri 1-3, located 5.79 kilometers from the start of the trail. This historical site offers insight into the ancient inhabitants of the area and is worth a visit if you have the time.
