This hiking route will take you through the beautiful area around La Palombière. The trail is 6.704 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 265 meters, making it a moderate difficulty hike. It is an out-and-back route, so you will retrace your steps on the way back.

As you start your hike, you'll pass by various points of interest. At the beginning of the trail, you'll find parking areas and the Place des Bourrugues. Further along the trail, at around 0.14 kilometers from the start, you'll come across more parking areas and an alpine hut where you can take a break and enjoy the surroundings.

About 3.35 kilometers into the hike, you'll reach La Palombière, a viewpoint with a fast food option called La Palombière. This is a great spot to rest and take in the views. Nearby, you'll also find the Snow Bar restaurant for a meal before heading back.

For those interested in learning more about the area, you can visit the Office de Tourisme de la Pierre Saint-Martin at around 0.14 kilometers from the start. Additionally, there is the Gouffre des Bourrugues cave entrance at 0.04 kilometers from the start for those interested in exploring.
