This extremely difficult hiking route will take you on a 12.872-kilometer journey to Cairn Leuchan. The trail starts at a parking area where you can find amenities like the Clachan Grill restaurant and the Brown Sugar Cafe. Make sure to fill up your water bottles before embarking on this challenging hike.
As you make your way along the trail, you will pass by various points of interest. About 0.62 kilometers from the start, you can find water sources nearby. Further along, at the 5.42-kilometer mark, there is another water source. Additionally, at 0.49 kilometers from the start, you will come across the Sir Allan Russell MacKenzie monument.
After a strenuous ascent, you will reach the peak of Cairn Leuchan at the 6.44-kilometer mark. Take in the panoramic views before making your way back along the same trail.
