This extremely difficult 17.867-kilometer hiking route will take you on an out-and-back journey through a rugged and challenging terrain. The route starts at the parking area, where you can leave your vehicle free of charge. As you begin your hike, you'll pass by the Tisenhof restaurant, a perfect spot to grab a meal before continuing on your adventure.

Along the way, you'll encounter the Raffeinhof restaurant, although it's slightly off the trail at 1.26 kilometers from the start. Further on, at about 5.87 kilometers into the hike, you'll reach the Similaunhütte Alpine Hut, a great place to take a break and enjoy the stunning mountain views.

As you trek onwards, be sure to visit the Ötzi-Denkmal, a memorial dedicated to the famous ice mummy known as Ötzi. This landmark is located approximately 8.83 kilometers from the start of the route.

For those interested in history, you can find the Steinnanner'l memorial at around 5.87 kilometers into the hike. Additionally, the trail will take you past the Tisenjoch natural saddle and the Tisenjoch viewpoint at 8.87 and 8.93 kilometers from the start, respectively.

Throughout the hike, you'll come across various facilities such as drinking water stations, benches, and shelters to rest and replenish your energy. Be sure to bring enough water and snacks, as this challenging route with 1663 meters of elevation gain will test your stamina.
