Welcome to the hiking route to Grande Conche, a challenging 9.33-kilometer trail with an elevation gain of 571 meters, estimated to take around 3 hours and 35 minutes to complete. This route will lead you through a picturesque area near Hotel des Portes du Soliel, offering stunning views and a mix of terrains to challenge your hiking skills.

As you begin your journey, you'll pass by Hotel des Portes du Soliel, a convenient starting point with parking available just a short distance away. Make sure to grab a quick bite or drink at Chez Jojo et Jibi restaurant before venturing further into the wilderness.

Further along the trail, you'll encounter Portes de l'Hiver, a natural saddle formation just 3.19 kilometers from the start. Take a moment to appreciate the unique landscape before continuing towards the peaks ahead.

At 3.05 kilometers in, you'll find Croix de l'Hiver, a majestic peak slightly off the trail. For a closer peak experience, head towards Grande Conche at 4.67 kilometers, another notable peak along the route.

As you near the endpoint, Pointe des Mossettes offers a final challenge at 3.58 kilometers from the start. Once you reach Grande Conche, take in the breathtaking views before heading back the way you came.
