This challenging circular hiking route takes you to the majestic Blauspitze peak in the picturesque area. The trail spans 11.782 kilometers and features an elevation gain of 1085 meters, making it a difficult yet rewarding trek.
As you start your journey, you will come across informational points along the way that provide insight into the local area. Midway through the hike, you will encounter the peak known as Blauer Knopf, offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.
Continuing on, you will reach the Hohes Tor saddle, a perfect spot to take a break and soak in the stunning scenery. Throughout the hike, be sure to stay hydrated and bring enough water, especially as you pass by drinking water stations located at 3.39 kilometers and 3.12 kilometers from the start.
The trail is dotted with informational points, benches, and historic wayside crosses, adding to the cultural experience of the hike. Parking is available at the Spöttling-Taurer area, making it convenient for hikers to reach the starting point of the trail.
