Located in the picturesque Argentera region, this challenging hiking route to Cima delle Lose offers stunning views and a rewarding adventure for experienced hikers. The 9.655-kilometer trail features an elevation gain of 563 meters and takes approximately 3 hours and 38 minutes to complete.
Starting at the parking area, hikers will pass by the historic AP des Fourches fort at 0.56 kilometers into the hike. As you continue, you will reach the Col des Fourches information point and boundary stone at 0.51 kilometers, offering insight into the area's history and landmarks.
Midway through the hike, at 4.83 kilometers in, you will come across a natural water source, providing a refreshing break and an opportunity to refill your water bottles. Additionally, shelters are available along the trail at 1.53, 1.71, and 1.76 kilometers, offering a place to rest or seek refuge if needed.
Near the summit, at 0.51 kilometers from the start, hikers will encounter the Camp des Fourches attraction and the Col des Fourches saddle, providing panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.
