This challenging hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of Viale di Castellmato in the Parco Naturale Regionale Monti Simbruini. The trail covers a distance of 8.849 kilometers with an elevation gain of 319 meters, making it suitable for experienced hikers.
Starting at the parking area near the trailhead, you will pass by a drinking water station just a few meters into the hike, which is perfect for refilling your water bottles before continuing on your journey.
