This hiking route will take you through the beautiful Schleinitz Klettersteig Notabstieg area. The trail is an out-and-back type, covering a total distance of 9.582 kilometers with an elevation gain of 602 meters, making it a difficult hike that will take approximately 3 hours and 43 minutes to complete.
Starting at the Rottmannalm parking area, you will begin your journey towards the Goiselemandl peak, located 3.43 kilometers from the start. As you make your way up, you will encounter several water sources along the trail, with the closest one being approximately 2.69 kilometers from the start. Be sure to stay hydrated and refill your water bottles at these points.
Midway through the hike, at around 4.77 kilometers from the start, you will come across a restaurant called "die Alm," where you can take a break and grab a bite to eat. Continuing on, you will pass by various water points, picnic sites, and information spots.
As you near the end of the trail, at approximately 3.69 kilometers from the start, you will reach the Neualplschneid peak, offering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Finally, you will make your way back to the starting point, taking in the natural beauty and serenity of the Schleinitz Klettersteig Notabstieg area.
