This challenging hiking route takes you through a beautiful area with stunning natural scenery. The trail covers a distance of 8.5 kilometers and involves an elevation gain of 392 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding hike. It will take approximately 3 hours to complete.
Starting at Bräualm, the hike begins with a gentle slope as you make your way through the picturesque landscape. Along the way, you will come across several points of interest.
About 0.05 kilometers from the start, you will find the Lechnerhäusl restaurant, a perfect spot to take a break and enjoy some refreshments. Further along the trail, at around 2.9 kilometers, you will reach the Krumlquelle spring, where you can replenish your water supply.
As you continue on the trail, you will encounter several benches at various points, offering opportunities to rest and take in the surrounding nature. There are also informational signs along the way to provide insight into the local flora and fauna.
At around 4.2 kilometers, you will reach the Bräualm alpine hut, a great place to stop for a meal and soak in the stunning mountain views. Nearby, you will also find a spring for another chance to refill your water bottle.
Towards the end of the hike, at approximately 4.2 kilometers, you will come across a memorial named Alfred, adding a touch of history to your outdoor adventure.
