This hiking route takes you on a 7.7-kilometer journey through the stunning landscape of Großer Hirschberg. The route is considered difficult due to its elevation gain of 455 meters. It is estimated to take around 2 hours and 55 minutes to complete.

Starting at Parkplatz Hotel Lanig, you will first pass by Dorfparklatz P1 before reaching the Alpengasthof Löwen parking lot. Along the way, you will encounter various points of interest such as the Spieser peak, Jochschrofen peak, and Großer Hirschberg peak.

You will also come across the Artenschutzturm Santa Maria, which offers a unique cultural experience. As you continue your hike, you will pass by benches and information points where you can take a break and learn more about the surroundings.
