Welcome to the Rheinwaldweg hiking route!
The Rheinwaldweg is a 6.9 km circular route that offers a moderate level of difficulty. The trail is relatively flat with no significant elevation gain, making it suitable for hikers of all skill levels.
As you start your hike, you will come across the Wacholderrain, a scenic spot located just 0.38 km from the beginning of the trail. This area is known for its beautiful views and is a great place to take a short break and enjoy the surrounding nature.
Further along the trail, at the 2.2 km mark, you will find a parking area where you can leave your vehicle before starting the hike. This is a convenient spot for those driving to the trailhead.
At the midway point of the hike, around the 3.3 km mark, you will encounter another natural water feature. Take some time to relax by the water and take in the peaceful surroundings.
As you continue on, you will pass by a beach area located 0.25 km from the start of the trail. This is a great spot to stop for a picnic or cool off with a refreshing swim on a hot day.
Near the 2.83 km mark, you will find a bench where you can rest and refuel before continuing on with the rest of the hike. Additionally, there is an information point nearby where you can learn more about the area's history and wildlife.
