This hiking route will take you through the picturesque area of Rosenjoch - Ellbögen. The trail is a circular route with a total distance of 9.883 kilometers and an elevation gain of 742 meters, making it a challenging hike that will take approximately 4 hours and 8 minutes to complete.

As you start your hike, you will come across the Hinterlarcher Parkplatz, a parking area located right at the beginning of the trail. Further along, at a distance of 0.3 kilometers from the start, you will find a drinking water station for refilling your water bottles. Continuing on, at 0.48 kilometers from the start, there is a natural spring where you can take a rest and enjoy the scenery.

Around 3.24 kilometers into the hike, you will reach the Berghütte Arztal wilderness hut, where you can take a break and refuel. At 3.36 kilometers into the hike, you will find the Arztal Alm restaurant and alpine hut, offering a great spot for a meal with a view.

On your way back, at around the 4.74 kilometers mark, you will come across a waterfall and a viewpoint, providing a stunning vista of the surrounding landscape. As you continue on, you will pass by several historic sites such as wayside shrines and benches to rest along the way.

Given the length and elevation of the hike, it is recommended to bring an adequate water supply, snacks, proper hiking gear, and to check the weather forecast before embarking on this adventure.
