This challenging out-and-back hiking route will take you to Rosenjoch in Ellbögen. The trail covers a distance of approximately 11.769 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1090 meters, making it a difficult trek that will take around 5 hours and 26 minutes to complete.

Starting at Hinterlarcher Parkplatz, you will begin your journey through the picturesque landscape. Along the way, you will come across various points of interest. About 3.55 kilometers into the hike, you will reach Arztal Alm, where you can take a break and enjoy some refreshments. Further along the trail at 3.24 kilometers, you will find Berghütte Arztal, a wilderness hut where you can rest and recharge.

As you continue on, you will encounter a water source at 5.88 kilometers, perfect for refilling your water bottle. Make sure to stay hydrated throughout the hike, especially on hot days. Additionally, at 4.1 kilometers, there is another spring for you to replenish your water supply.

Midway through the hike at 4.49 kilometers, you'll be able to admire a scenic waterfall at a viewing point. Take some time to soak in the natural beauty that surrounds you. Along the way, you will also come across benches where you can take a moment to rest and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
