This challenging hiking route will take you to the beautiful Hofalm-Hütte in Thalerl. The trail covers a distance of 10.67 kilometers with an elevation gain of 794 meters, so be prepared for a strenuous adventure that will last approximately 4 hours and 27 minutes.

Starting at the parking area, you will pass by Gasthof Gnedt just 0.06 kilometers into the hike. You can stop here for a meal before continuing on your journey. As you hike, you will come across two water sources at 5.24 and 5.34 kilometers respectively, be sure to refill your water bottles as staying hydrated is essential.

Further along the trail at 4.91 kilometers from the start, you will reach the Kohlröserl-Hütte where you can take a break and enjoy the stunning alpine views. At 3.18 kilometers, you will encounter the Waldhüttsattel saddle and an information point that provides insight into the area's history.

Around 1.7 kilometers into the hike, you will reach a viewpoint that offers panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Lastly, at 0.73 kilometers, there is a bench where you can rest and take in the peaceful surroundings before making your way back.
