Welcome to the Sha Tin Country Trail in Sha Tin District! This circular route spans 5.168 kilometers with an elevation gain of 403 meters, making it a moderate difficulty hike. The estimated duration for this hike is 2 hours and 12 minutes.

As you start your journey, you will pass by the Mei Chung Court Multi-storey Car Park, located just 27.8 meters from the trail. This is a convenient spot for hikers who are driving to the starting point. Just a short distance away, you will also find the May Shing Court Multi-storey Car Park, perfect for those looking for parking options along the way.

Approximately 1 kilometer into the hike, you will encounter a water source, providing a refreshing break for hikers. Continuing on, at around the 2.23-kilometer mark, you will come across an information point where you can learn more about the trail and its surroundings.

Around the midpoint of the hike, at 2.34 kilometers, there is a shelter available for hikers to rest and refuel before continuing on their journey. Nearby, you will find another information point to enhance your hiking experience.

Towards the end of the trail, at 2.39 kilometers, you will reach a saddle and two peaks - great locations to take in panoramic views of the surrounding natural scenery. One of the peaks is known as "針草坳".
