This challenging 6.082 km hike to Cima Neutra offers stunning views and interesting points of interest along the way.

Starting at the parking area near Bugni, you will find a fountain to fill up your water bottle before setting off on the trail. As you make your way up, you will come across the Monumento ai Caduti, a historic monument dedicated to fallen soldiers.

Further along the trail, at about 0.87 km from the start, you will encounter a wayside shrine called Baito Smaniotto. This is a good spot to take a break and learn about the local culture and history.

One of the highlights of the hike is the peak called Cavioio, located at 2.37 km from the start. Although not directly on the trail, it is worth the extra distance to reach this picturesque spot.

Continuing on, you will pass by the ex Cava di marmo cave entrance at 1.09 km from the start. Take a moment to explore this unique geological feature before pushing on towards Cima Neutra.

At the summit of Cima Neutra, standing at 3.04 km from the start, you will be rewarded with panoramic views of the surrounding wilderness. This is a great place to rest and refuel before heading back down the trail.

Remember to bring plenty of water, snacks, and to check the weather forecast before embarking on this hike. The total elevation gain of 727.0 meters makes this a difficult hike, so be prepared for a strenuous workout.
