This hiking route will take you to the beautiful Zottachkopf peak in the area. The trail is 4.345 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 481 meters, making it a moderate difficulty hike. It is recommended to bring plenty of water and check the weather forecast before embarking on this adventure.
Starting at the parking area, you will follow the trail and pass by the Rattendorfer Alm alpine hut, located just 0.03 kilometers from the start. Further along the route, at 0.25 kilometers from the beginning, you will come across a historic wayside cross.
As you continue on, you will reach an information point about 0.95 kilometers into the hike. From there, the trail will lead you to the Zottachkopf peak, which is 2.17 kilometers from the start. Take in the stunning views from the peak before making your way back.
On the way back, you can stop by another information point located 1.6 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. Be sure to enjoy the journey and take your time exploring the natural beauty of the area.
