This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding Kardinal-Nagl-Steig. The trail is an out-and-back route with a total distance of 4.234 kilometers and an elevation gain of 107 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for hikers of all levels.

As you start your journey, you will come across a few points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, you will find a parking area where you can leave your vehicle before starting the hike. About 0.4 kilometers into the hike, you will come across a bench and a wayside shrine, providing a peaceful spot to take a break and enjoy the surroundings.

Continuing along the trail, you will pass by the Grabmayr-Kogel peak, located 0.72 kilometers from the start. Further ahead, at a distance of 1.23 kilometers, there is an information point where you can learn more about the area and its history.

Midway through the hike, at around 2.05 kilometers from the start, you will reach another peak called Großer Pfaff. Although it is slightly off the trail, it offers a stunning viewpoint worth the short detour. Towards the end of the route, you will encounter Kleiner Pfaff, another peak located 0.98 kilometers from the start.

Remember to bring an ample supply of water and snacks, especially on warmer days. It is also recommended to check the weather forecast before heading out to ensure a safe and enjoyable hike.
