This hiking route takes you through a beautiful area with a total distance of approximately 5.5 kilometers and an elevation gain of 103 meters, making it of moderate difficulty. It is estimated to take about 1 hour and 30 minutes to complete.

Starting off from the parking area at the beginning of the trail, you will first come across an interesting wayside cross dating back to historic times, located just 0.5 kilometers from the start. As you continue on, at around 0.9 kilometers into the hike, you will find informative signs along the Sonnleitenweg E, providing insights about the area.

Along the way, you will encounter several water points, with the first one being 2.7 kilometers from the start and the rest scattered throughout the trail, offering you opportunities to rest and replenish your water supply. Additionally, at 1.6 kilometers, you will reach Mostwirtshaus Kürner, a cozy restaurant where you can take a break and enjoy some local cuisine.

Further into the hike, at 2.1 kilometers, you will spot a bench for those needing a moment to relax and take in the surroundings. Additionally, at 2.7 kilometers, you will find a memorial site, paying homage to the historic significance of the area.

As you head back towards the starting point, at around 5.3 kilometers into the hike, you will pass by a restaurant, Leini´s Dorfwirtshaus, where you can refuel before completing the loop.
