Welcome to the hiking route to Grauenstein! This trail offers a moderate level of difficulty, covering a distance of 5.892 kilometers with an elevation gain of 458 meters. You can expect this hike to take around 2 hours and 30 minutes to complete.

Starting off at the trailhead, you will pass by the Grasgehren Alpine Hut, where you can refuel with some delicious local food and drinks. As you continue on, you will come across a parking area just 5.82 meters away from the trail, providing convenient access for those arriving by car.

Along the way, you will encounter two water sources, one 0.14 kilometers into the hike and the other at 0.12 kilometers, allowing you to replenish your water supply if needed. About 2.03 kilometers into the hike, you will reach the Riedberger Horn peak, offering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding area.

Midway through the hike, you will find the Grasgehren Hut, a great spot to take a break and learn more about the area through the informative displays available. Further along the trail, at 2.95 kilometers, you will reach the Grauenstein peak, providing a challenging yet rewarding ascent.

Throughout the hike, you will come across several information points and benches strategically placed along the trail, offering insights into the local flora and fauna and providing resting spots to catch your breath.
